Who is Robert Downey Jr’s lookalike musician son, Indio Downey? The 30-year-old nepo baby hangs with Keanu Reeves and was in Downey’s Dream Cars
As Downey Jr. returns to Marvel, let’s take a look at the life of his eldest son, Indio Falconer Downey:
Who is Indio Downey’s mother?
Downey Jr. also shares two children – son Exton Elias Downey and daughter Avri Roel Downey – with Susan Downey, adds the source.
He has dabbled in acting
He is a musician
However the 30-year-old’s real calling has been music. According to People, he is in a band called Indio Ink, formerly known as The Dose. According to Spotify, his top songs include “Plastic Rainbow”, “Cigarettes in Bed” and “Headspace”.
In September 2022, Downey Jr shared a heartfelt Instagram post in which he talked about his son’s growth and how “he’s emerged as one of my favourite recording artists, no joke”.
The Hollywood star added in his caption, “Anyone who knows him will tell you he’s one of the kindest, strongest, most talented, and least materialistic humans they know. I dropped by a recording session a few weeks back and witnessed his musicianship up close and was literally gob smacked.”
His music is inspired by his personal life
In November 2023, Indio revealed in an interview with People that he had celebrated 18 months of sobriety and had “gone through a transformation”.
“I really try to just write from a place of truth, and more often than not, that’s kind of what I’m going through,” he told the outlet. “I’ve been through a lot in the past, so I also try to take from the past and turn that into a story about suffering or love or whatever. I also like being able to tell a story.”
He’s close with his dad
It’s clear that Downey Jr. is close with his family, including his son Indio. Although he rarely shares photos of his children on social media, he does occasionally give a shoutout to them.
What’s more, Indio’s dad was the one who inspired him to get into music in the first place. “My dad actually really inspired me to play music when I was young,” he told People. “He sings, and he has an album as well that I listen to a lot. I was very fortunate to grow up in an artistic family, which allowed me to develop my creativity and my talents.”
