At the start of the year, 48-year-old American actor Jason Sudeikis was spotted outside a West Hollywood club with British-born model and actress Elsie Hewitt, who is 28. According to UK media, the pair’s relationship status remained unclear at the time, although the images snapped by paparazzi of the two together certainly suggested a budding romance.
But besides her ties to the Ted Lasso star, what else do we know about Elsie Hewitt?
She’s a model and actress
As an actress, she’s appeared in 2020 film Teenage Badass, and two episodes of the comedy series Dave that ran from 2020 to 2021.
She’s a foodie
There’s more to Hewitt than meets the eye. She also has a YouTube channel that documents her foodie adventures all over the world – including in destinations like New Orleans and Costa Rica – though she hasn’t uploaded in a while. Nevertheless, she describes herself as “an actor, photographer” and “obsessed with food” in the “About” section of her YouTube channel, which has more than 14,000 subscribers.
Hewitt even has her own line of clothing called Elsie Eats, that puts a playful and satirical spin on designer brands and their recognisable iconography. Instead of Prada, it’s Pasta; and instead of Cartier, it’s Caviar.
She gives back to those less fortunate
A banner across the top of the Elsie Eats online store shows that Hewitt has partnered with Caviar by DoorDash and non-profit organisation Feeding America, and together they donate a meal to those in need for every item of merchandise sold on Elsie Eats.
In addition, the Turnt actress has also worked with the Bali Children’s Project, which is “dedicated to [helping] children in Bali escape poverty through education”.
Hewitt shared her experience with the non-profit in a 2022 Instagram reel, and wrote in the caption that “schools in Indonesia and all over the world are in desperate need of fixing, many putting children at risk of exposure to asbestos and other harmful things … it was heartbreaking to see these conditions in what should always be a safe and comfortable space for a child to receive an education … The world is so much bigger than the bubble I feel like I live in sometimes.”

She sued her ex Ryan Phillippe
Phillippe has denied all the allegations. A source close to the actor told the outlet it was in fact the model who was under the influence, adding that she appeared at his house after he’d broken up with her and “physically attacked Ryan, caused a scene and refused to leave his home. As she was removed from the premises, she claims she fell and injured herself”.
Ultimately, as reported by UK media, Phillippe “settled with his ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt just four days before his assault case was due to come before a judge”. However, it was not disclosed how much the actor paid Hewitt in the settlement.
