Walton Goggins, set to join HBO’s acclaimed anthology series ‘The White Lotus’ for its third season, recently provided fans with a rare glimpse into the filming process.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, July 7, the 52-year-old actor shared a series of candid photos showcasing the camaraderie among the cast. In his caption, Goggins alluded to cherished memories made with his fellow actors, quoting, “Ain’t no mountain high enough… ain’t no valley low enough.”
The carousel of seven photos, credited to Instagram user @lifebywhite, captures Goggins alongside confirmed co-stars Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, and Michelle Monaghan.
Monaghan, 48, responded enthusiastically to the post, commenting, “me too baby!!!” after @lifebywhite expressed nostalgia with, “Gonna miss this!!!” Goggins reciprocated the sentiment, noting, “We will cherish these moments for the rest of our lives.”
Among the snapshots, the initial image features a Friends sticker, showcasing Bibb, 49, Coon, 43, Monaghan, and Goggins seated together at an outdoor dining table, likely set against Thailand’s tropical backdrop.
HBO had previously disclosed plans to film season 3 in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, continuing the series’ tradition of exotic locales following previous shoots in Hawaii and Italy.
Joining the confirmed cast members mentioned in Goggins’ Instagram post are Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Natasha Rothwell, reprising her role from season 1 as the resort’s spa manager.
Rothwell hinted at the upcoming season’s scale and intrigue, teasing, “It’s bigger than ever. Buckle up.”
Creator Mike White echoed this sentiment, promising a “supersized” experience for viewers in the forthcoming season. Season 1, which premiered in July 2021, garnered 20 Emmy nominations and secured 10 wins, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.
Season 2, which debuted in December 2022, continued its success with 23 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
