Lizzy Caplan will not be going to be ignored.
On Monday, Paramount+ unveiled the primary official trailer for Fatal Attraction, which premieres its first three episodes on Sunday, April 30, earlier than adopting a weekly launch schedule. The present is a “deep dive reimagining” of the eponymous ’80s movie by “the lens of privilege, persona problems, household dynamics and homicide,” based on the official synopsis.
Deadly Attraction follows Daniel Gallagher (The Affair’s Joshua Jackson) within the current day after serving 15 years in jail for the homicide of Alexandra Forrest (Fleishman Is in Bother’s Caplan). Gallagher “is paroled with the targets of reconnecting together with his household and proving his innocence. In 2008, Dan first meets Alex and his world begins to unravel after their transient affair threatens to destroy the life he’s constructed together with his spouse, Beth (Brockmire’s Amanda Peet).”
Along with Jackson, Caplan and Peet, the sequence stars Toby Huss (Halt and Catch Hearth) as Mike Gerard, Brian Goodman (Rizzoli and Isles) as Arthur Tomlinson, Alyssa Jirrels (As We See It) as Ellen Gallagher and Reno Wilson (Good Women) as Detective Earl Brooker.
Alexandra Cunningham (Soiled John, Probability) serves as author, showrunner and govt producer alongside govt producer Kevin J. Hynes (Perry Mason), with whom Cunningham developed the sequence, and govt producers Darryl Frank (The People) and Justin Falvey (The People).
