Job title: Public Relations Intern (Full-Time, Summer 2024)
Job description: Overview
Considering a career in integrated communications? If so, consider an internship at FleishmanHillard Dallas. We hire highly qualified candidates for our internships to work with some of the very best professionals in the industry. We have positions available in a variety of practice groups and specialty areas including social, consumer, food/beverage/agribusiness, technology, corporate, healthcare, financial and digital services.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about communications, eager to learn and as committed to doing great work as we are. The FleishmanHillard experience provides the opportunity to grow personally and professionally through exposure to client service and the inner workings of an international communications firm.
FleishmanHillard believes a diverse team brings a wider range of personal and professional experiences and perspectives. We recognize that diversity and inclusion benefit our agency, our clients, and the communities in which we work and live. To that end, we strongly encourage applications from women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. As part of our ongoing effort to be the world’s most inclusive agency, we are committed to seeking candidates who possess and demonstrate a profound interest in furthering our DE&I goals.
Qualified candidates will have completed at least their junior year of college and will be available full time. Basic job requirements for interns include excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, and desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Interns have the opportunity to be a part of the account staff teams and assist with media campaigns, developing media materials, conducting account research, and other account-related activities as well as cultivating diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive working and learning environment. All candidates must also exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.
This full-time paid internship is 40 hours per week and runs from June to August 2024. This internship offers a hybrid work experience (remote and in-office). Note: candidates are required to work onsite in our Dallas office at least two times a week.
We’re more motivated by what we can give than what we receive, with a longstanding worldwide service commitment to support social inclusion in the communities in which we work and live. We specialize in public relations, reputation management, public affairs, brand marketing, digital strategy, social engagement and content strategy. FleishmanHillard offers a hybrid work model, and seeks employees who are comfortable working in the office for a portion of their workweek. We value the collaboration and camaraderie that in-person interactions provide, but also understand the importance of flexibility and balance in our employees’ lives. As such, we are open to discuss various work arrangements that accommodate individual needs and circumstances, including flexible scheduling and alternative work arrangements. Our goal is to foster a productive and inclusive work environment where all employees can thrive, both in and out of the office.
