‘The Firm You Hold’ Season 1 Episode 6: Geoff Stults as Birdie’s Ex

Charlie and Emma aren’t the one ones with an advanced romantic life on The Company You Keep.

In TVLine’s unique sneak peek from this Sunday’s episode (ABC, 10/9c), Charlie’s sister Birdie reunites along with her estranged ex and her daughter Ollie’s absentee father, Simon Norris (performed by Enlisted and The Finder vet Geoff Stults). When the 2 meet up, Birdie reveals that it’s been 10 years since they final talked, and till not too long ago, she wasn’t even positive if Simon was alive or lifeless.

For his half, Simon admits that he was fairly tousled. “I wasn’t proper again then. I used to be — I am an addict,” he confesses, including that he’s modified and he’s sorry that he left her to boost Ollie alone.

Whereas it’s clear that Simon desires again into his daughter’s life, it’s Birdie who known as Simon in want of a favor: She desires him to get near somebody for what seems like a really fancy con job, judging by the accompanying picture. Evidently, Simon agrees to the gig — however there are situations.

Elsewhere within the episode, “Emma grapples with Charlie’s admission” that he’s doing Daphne’s bidding, forcing the CIA officer to “take care of conflicts of curiosity at work,” per the official synopsis.
