Sophia Bush has finalized her divorce from Grant Hughes after their August 2023 split and is now in a relationship with Ashlyn Harris.
The ‘One Tree Hill’ star, 42, and Hughes, 39, were married in 2022 but ended their 13-month marriage later that year. Bush then made her romance with former soccer player Harris, 39, public. Harris shares two children with ex-wife Ali Krieger.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show that the couple entered into a confidential settlement on December 30, 2024. This marks Bush’s second divorce, as her previous marriage to ‘One Tree Hill’ co-star Chad Michael Murray ended in 2006 after just one year.
In June 2024, Bush opened up about a conversation that helped her realize her bisexuality after her divorce. Speaking on her ‘Work in Progress’ podcast, Bush recalled how a close friend suggested that she might not be attracted to men. This conversation led Bush to identify as queer, something she hadn’t fully embraced before despite her connections to the queer community since childhood.
Bush’s current relationship with Harris began in October 2023 after they had become friends in 2019. In a personal essay for Glamour, Bush shared that she is deeply in love with Harris and described their bond as rare and beautiful. Reflecting on their relationship, Bush said it had been transformative for her, marking a new chapter in her life.
