Retired common arrested after FIR registered on costs of ‘inciting hatred towards establishments’ – Pakistan

Defence analyst and Lieutenant Normal (retd) Amjad Shoaib was arrested on Monday after an Islamabad Justice of the Peace registered a case towards him on costs of inciting the general public towards establishments.

The primary info report (FIR), a replica of which is obtainable with Daybreak.com, was lodged on the Ramna police station by Justice of the Peace Owais Khan on Sunday. The Justice of the Peace acknowledged that the retired military officer had suggested the PTI to “work out a method”.

The criticism stated that the retired common’s assertion had “tried to create additional enmity, anarchy and hatred between the federal government and the opposition”, including that Shoaib had handed these remarks “in keeping with a well-thought conspiracy and planning to additional weaken the nation”.

Subsequently, the complainant requested for authorized motion to be taken towards the retired common for his remarks.
