We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing accounts across a specified region. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a proven track record in sales, and a deep understanding of solid waste, municipal and industrial markets, as well as wastewater treatment processes. Existing relationships selling to these markets is a must.Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Manage a portfolio of services to key targets
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships through regular engagement and exceptional customer service
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and channel partners
  • Optimize sales processes and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Forecast and track sales metrics to ensure achievement of sales targets
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience and relationships as a sales manager, sales engineer, account executive, or a similar leadership role in the solid waste or water/wastewater treatment industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the municipal, industrial, and solid waste purchasing process, understanding of industry regulations and trends
  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify business opportunities and execute effective sales strategies
  • Ability to travel within assigned regions as necessary
  • Capital sales experience is required

Working Conditions
Environment: Remote office, occasional site or customer visits may include solid waste (MSW) landfills, industrial facilities or similar
Exposures: Our systems are typically applied in sites with known surface and/or groundwater contamination. Ability to work with required PPE is mandatory.
Physical Requirements: Office / sedentary and ability to travel via vehicle or plane.
