NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Chief of Pashtun Tahaffuz Motion (PTM) Manzoor Pashteen has warned that Pakhtuns had gone by immense struggling resulting from army operations on their lands, and can put up stiff resistance if any such offensive was launched on their land in future.
Addressing a public gathering in Miramshah tehsil right here on Sunday, he mentioned that the tribesmen had rendered numerous sacrifices for independence of the nation and related sacrifices could be provided for its defence.
“Tribesmen have had sufficient of ache and agony attributable to army operations performed from Janikhel to North Waziristan on occasion. Any such motion in future will face stiff resistance,” Mr Pashteen reiterated.
He mentioned that PTM chief Hanif Pashtun had been behind bars for final 4 years and never even a single witness was introduced through the case hearings in a bid to delay his imprisonment.
“North Waziristan and Bannu districts must be given their due share within the oil and gasoline reserves found just lately in Bannu’s West Block,” he mentioned, including that oil refineries must be established throughout the Bannu division.
