Job description: Interim HealthCare’s Augusta Georgia Office is seeking Skilled Nurses (RNs & LPNs) with prior experience providing Private Duty Nursing (PDN) Homecare to join the Interim Augusta Team! The Augusta Office currently has a variety of shift, days and times, options to suit all schedules; full-time, part-time, PRN. Shift length range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on patient need, nurse availability and schedule authorization.Current patient assignments with open needs are listed according to Patient Type, Location, Shift Type, Length and Day. See below.
- Ped-Teen | Augusta – M – F (8 hr day shifts)
- Ped-Toddler | Augusta – Sat & Sun (8-10 hr day shifts)
- Hephzibah – Sat & Sun (8 hour day shifts)
- Ped-Baby | Augusta/Waynesboro – T, W, F – Sun (12 hour days shifts)
- Ped-Baby | Augusta/Waynesboro – Sun – Sat (8-12 hour NOC shifts)
- Ped-Toddler | Wadley – 2x days per week [flexible] (8 hour day shifts)
- Adult | Appling – Th – Sun (8-12 hour day shifts)
- Adult | Appling – Sun – Sat (8 hour mid shifts)
- Adult | Appling – 2x days per week [varying] (8-12 hr NOC shifts)
- Ped-Teen | Thomson/Washington – M – F (8-12 hr [early afternoon] mid shifts)
- Ped-Teen | Thomson/Washington – Sat & Sun (8-12 hour day shifts)
- Ped-Teen | Thomson/Washington – Fri & Sat (8-12 hour NOC shifts)
- Ped-Teen | Elberton – Sun – Sat (8-12 hour day shifts)

- 1 on 1 Patient Centric Care
- Full time, part time and PRN schedules available.
- Hourly Shifts, range from 8, 10, & 12 hours
- Flexible Scheduling (Create your Own Schedules)
- Patients range from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Pediatric, trach and vent training offered

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION EMPLOYMENT:
- Follow Physician Orders to deliver care consistent with patient Plans of Care Service Plans
- Knowledge of when/how to report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to appropriate supervisor and/or patient physician
- Ability to coordinate care and communicate with physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Document / chart patient care, as provided in real-time, in line with professional healthcare provider standards
- Maintaining accurate patient medical records
- Provide education and support to patients and their family members on disease process & treatment
- Active Georgia RN or LPN Nursing License (Multi-State Compact License)
- BLS CPR & First Aid Certification
- Recent TB Skin Screen (within last 12 months) or Chest X-Ray (within last 5 years) confirming negative result
- Experience working with either patients with feeding tube, tracheotomy, or ventilator
- Ability to pass Local, State & Federal Background Check
- Authorized to Work in the U.S.
- Reliable Transportation
