AS anti-government protests collect steam in Israel, a whole bunch of protesters besieged the spouse of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a Tel Aviv hair salon on Wednesday, prompting the intervention of police, in accordance with The Times of Israel.
In a day of “uncommon” clashes between police and protesters in Tel Aviv, demonstrators rushed to Kikar HaMedina Plaza upon listening to that Prime Minister’s spouse Sara Netanyahu was at a hair salon there, the report mentioned.
“The nation is burning and Sara is getting a haircut,” protesters chanted — a phrase that rhymes in Hebrew — whereas others chanted “Could your hair ends burn”, it added.
The primary woman was ultimately evacuated by the police. Later, Mr Netanyahu tweeted an image of him embracing his spouse. “The anarchy must cease — it might find yourself costing lives,” he wrote.
The report mentioned opposition leaders supporting the protests had been greatly surprised by demonstrators’ determination to encompass Ms Netanyahu on the salon and referred to as on protesters to let her depart.
