‘Monsieur Spade’ Exhibits Clive Owen as a Dashing Detective in New Trailer (VIDEO)

AMC is releasing a brand new restricted collection known as Monsieur Spade primarily based on Dashiell Hammett’s Sam Spade character within the Thirties Maltese Falcon novels. Clive Owen will painting the function of Spade alongside co-stars Alfre Woodard and Dean Winters. Rounding out the solid are Stanley Weber, Matthew Beard, Cara Bossom, Denis Ménochet, Louise Bourgoin, Chiara Mastroianni, Jonathan Zaccaï, and Rebecca Root. The collection is ready in 1963 when personal detective Spade is having fun with a soothing retirement within the South of France.

“However the rumored return of his previous adversary will change every little thing,” AMC Networks teases in a press release. “Six beloved nuns have been brutally murdered on the native convent. Because the city grieves, secrets and techniques emerge, and new leads are established. Spade learns that the murders are someway related to a mysterious little one who’s believed to own nice powers.” Spade arrives on the scene in his trademark trench coat and fedora, able to crack the case. The restricted collection was shot on location in France and was co-created, written, directed by, and executive-produced by Scott Frank together with Tom Fontana. It’ll air as a six-episode collection.
