According to her IMDb page, Daniella Pick was born on November 21, 1983, in Ramat Ha-Sharon, Israel. People magazine adds that her father, Svika Pick, was an Israeli pop star known as “The Maestro”, who rose to fame in the 1970s.

Pick, 40, is a multi-hyphenate who’s dabbled in modelling, singing and acting. She collaborated with her sister Sharona in the Pick Sisters duo, and later pursued a solo career in music, with songs like “More or Less” and “Love Me”, per People. In terms of her acting career, she starred in her husband’s hit film Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood in 2019, and has another film – The Perfect Gamble, alongside David Arquette – in post-production, per IMDb.

How did Quentin Tarantino meet Daniella Pick?

According to US media, Tarantino and Pick – who have a 21-year age gap – met for the first time back in 2009, when he was promoting his film Inglorious Basterds in Israel. Pick would have been around 25 at the time.

After the Reservoir Dogs director popped the question in 2017, the couple threw an engagement party with Pulp Fiction cast members Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson all in attendance, per People. They tied the knot in November 2018 at their Los Angeles home.

Yes, the lovebirds are parents to two children. They welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, on February 22, 2020, and celebrated the birth of a baby girl two years later on July 2, 2022, according to People.

In a 2021 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Tarantino clarified that his firstborn wasn’t named after his frequent collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio, but rather, Daniella’s grandfather. “We almost didn’t name him that because people would assume I named him after Leonardo DiCaprio,” he explained. “There’s nothing wrong with that, but … he’s named after my wife’s grandfather, but also because, just in our hearts, he was our little lion.”
