Lisa Wilson joked about her son’s rumoured affair with her BFF

After Zach Wilson, 25, and his high school sweetheart Abbey Gile broke up, Gile moved on with his college roommate and best friend Dax Milne, which saw her labelled a “homie hopper” online. Clapping back, she alleged that Zach cheated on her by sleeping with his 49-year-old mum’s best friend.

Neither Zach nor Lisa directly addressed the rumours, but both posted tongue-in-cheek responses. Lisa shared an Instagram Story of her spin class with the caption, “look how sexy my friends are”, while her son commented below a post of himself and his teammates in Idaho: “Poor cell service … what I miss?”

Back when the rumours first surfaced and haters flocked to her socials, Lisa took to Instagram to post a video, saying: “If you’re just so dark and angry, you’re gonna eventually leave because people like me will bug the s*** out of you”.

She was accused of making light of an “affair”

Earlier this year, Lisa posted a photo of her husband with the caption, “I’m having an affair with the hot guy from the gym, who also happens to be my husband.” She then received criticism in her DMs for what one person perceived as her joking about having affairs.

Lisa then shared a screenshot of the DM with an additional message saying, “I’m not for everyone and that’s OK. I’m just a mum and a wife trying to help women live their best life. Sharing things that work for me.”

She believes in controlling her children

Lisa prided herself on her parenting skills until she found out that her youngest daughter had been chatting online with someone she would “never want my child to be speaking to”, recalling the incident on her Instagram. She further explained that the person had “dark anime posts” and that “anime obsession” is “so frightening”. “Satan has found a way to come right into your home and steal your child, without you even noticing”, she wrote in her caption, before concluding that “children want to be controlled … If you don’t control them … they will find someone who will”.

Lisa has spoken about looking out for her children more recently too. She revealed on an Instagram post that the way she has been able to “keep [her] family so close” was by controlling them. “It makes them feel safe, comforted, wanted and loved,” she claimed.

She owns a shop

Lisa’s shop is called Live Life Legit, where she offers “the perfect products to balance your marriage, moming, and household, all while living that boss life of your own”. She curates collections with titles such as “gifts for her” by partnering with brands. She also has a “Butterfly Effect” themed clothing line with Swear Studio.
