In fact, they even have the same mole on the right side of their nose!

Here’s what you need to know about the up-and-coming actress – and Blake Lively’s mini-me:

It Ends With Us marks Ferrer’s film debut, according to IMDb. She also had a minor role as the “astrology girl” in a TV series called Evil and was in a short film called Fire Burning, which were both released this year as well.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ferrer said she was grateful to have been entrusted to play a young version of Lively’s character in her youth. “I knew how important this movie was and how important Colleen is,” she told the publication. “Also, what a nice compliment to be like, ‘Could you play young Blake Lively?’ That’s the biggest compliment I’ve ever gotten in my whole life.”

In one Instagram caption, she wrote that Lively gave her a hand with the outfits. “@blakelively styling me (still can’t believe I get to say that??)” she wrote.

Ferrer has gushed about what an honour it has been to work with an A-lister like Blake Lively. In their joint interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ferrer shared an anecdote from their interactions. “You came up to me and you were like, ‘I want you to know that this role is just as much yours as it is mine,’” she recounted. “It was like the most supportive and uplifting thing to feel as a young actor coming into this, to feel like somebody like you who has such a high status and is so important in this project to also be like, ‘What do you think?’ That’s the biggest privilege and compliment.”

What is the controversy behind It Ends With Us?

Even before the film project was announced, there was backlash against the book it is based on. According to Rolling Stone, the novel and the film have both been criticised for “trivialising” domestic abuse by focusing too much on the romance elements of the story. And not everyone was happy when they found out about the film’s casting either, with Screenrant reporting in May that many thought Lively – who was 35 during filming – was too old to play the character of Lily, who is around 23 in the novel.

Now there’s drama around the film’s director and male lead Justin Baldoni, who has been promoting the film separately from the rest of cast and was unfollowed by Blake Lively and the book’s author Colleen Hooven on Instagram, according to USA Today.
