Meet Gisele Bündchen’s 5 sisters, including her twin, Patricia: the supermodel just celebrated her 44th birthday with ‘Pati’ and calls her siblings her ‘best friends’ – but what do they do for work?
Gisele Bündchen just celebrated her 44th birthday with her twin sister Patricia. “Grateful to be celebrating one more year around the sun with my super sis,” she wrote in her caption on Instagram alongside photos of her twin and family. “Thank you everyone for all the love and birthday wishes. Feeling blessed to be surrounded by so much love. Looking forward to what is ahead.”
The Brazilian supermodel has always made it clear that family comes first for her, whether that means spending time with her children or her five siblings. And if you didn’t know that she had five (yes, five!) sisters, then you can be forgiven – they’re rarely seen in public or on her social media.
Here’s what we know about them, based on what the model has shared over the years:
Where in Brazil is Gisele Bündchen from?
What do Gisele Bundchen’s five sisters do for work?
Raquel, the eldest Bündchen sibling, apparently works as Gisele’s accountant, while Graziela is a judge, according to Vanity Fair. Gabriela is a lawyer, who has also worked with Gisele, and Rafaela, the youngest sister, designed Gisele’s website.
Who are Gisele Bündchen’s parents?
According to American media, Gisele’s father Valdir is a sociologist and writer, while her late mother Vânia was a bank clerk. The sisters lost their mother in January this year to cancer, after she died at the age of 75.
“Beloved mum, it hurts to know that I won’t be able to hug you any more, but I know that you will always be watching over us,” Gisele wrote on social media. “You were an angel on earth, always helping everyone around you. I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you.”
Her sisters are her best friends
Gisele regularly calls her sisters her best friends. “My family is everything to me and my sisters are my best friends even if sometimes we disagree,” she told People in 2023. “Family is what gives us our foundation, they are our greatest teachers, and they help us become who we are,” she added.
They rarely make public appearances
Gisele’s sisters have remained largely under the radar, and that’s likely by design. Only occasionally do they make public appearances, whether that be joining their famous sis at the occasional red carpet event or popping up on her Instagram page, which has almost 23 million followers.
