Job description: Our dynamic and growing law firm is currently seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience and a strong passion for employment law.Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years of experience Labor & Employment Law Associate.
  • Experience in federal and state courts, and strong writing, analytical and organizational skills to handle litigation and counseling work for clients
  • Experience with federal and state employment litigation and statutes including FLSA, FMLA, Title VII and ADA.
  • Work proactively with business executives, in-house counsel, and human resources managers to address workplace issues before they develop into litigation.
  • Work with employers in virtually every industry, including health care, real estate, banking, insurance, hospitality, retail, restaurant, construction, and nonprofit
  • Strong background in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Governance, and tax experience

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state Bar and in good standing.
  • 3+ years of legal experience, with a focus on employment law.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Previous defense experience is a plus but not required.
