The person who began all of it for the 828ers — “You’ve all been lacking, presumed lifeless, for 5 and a half years,” Vance (Daryl Edwards) instructed them within the pilot — seemingly teed up a possible continuation for his or her story within the Manifest sequence finale, streaming June 2 on Netflix.
After the 828ers acquired again on the airplane and survived their judgments, they discovered themselves disembarking in New York on April 7, 2013, as they’d have if their flight hadn’t disappeared. And as Ben (Josh Dallas) left the airport with Grace (Athena Karkanis), Vance walked by with a brand new puzzle: This time when the airplane landed, 11 passengers had vanished from Flight 828. So does Ben observe down Vance after that?
Dallas certain hopes so. “I like that dynamic a lot, and I like Daryl Edwards greater than life itself,” he tells TV Insider.
He then provides that there was a teaser scene — he was not in it — that was filmed however didn’t make the ultimate reduce of the finale. “It form of opens the story somewhat bit — or rather a lot — for additional journeys to occur. I don’t know what’s taking place with that,” he admits. “I don’t know if it’s ever going to occur, but when there was ever a Manifest sequel and [show creator] Jeff Rake needed to write down phrases to place in my dumb mouth, I might be there 100% anytime, anyplace he says. And I might hope that it might be with Daryl.”
As for what occurs in that scene, “It could or could not happen on the airplane and it could or could not embody some very pivotal characters to Flight 828,” he teases. “It undoubtedly had a personality in it that’s related to each single a kind of passengers on the airplane … and who possibly disappeared sooner or later in a previous season.”
Oh, we have now to see that!
