Islamabad to Get Pakistan’s First World-Class Zoo and Safari Park

The government of Pakistan has approved the project of the first-class international zoo and safari park in the country to enhance its recreational facilities. The CDA chief, who was present in the meeting chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, gave an inspiring briefing of the proposed project that intends to present the capital city with the finest leisure alternatives.

In the particular meeting, the CDA Chairman discussed information concerning the large-scale zoo and safari park plan. With the principal approval of the interior minister Mr Mohsin Naqvi, the Islamabad city is all set to experience new recreational ventures. The zoo and the safari park will be established with a planned area of 200 acres which can house 5,000 animals and birds.

Taking this, Minister Naqvi stressed that the proposed safari park will be affiliated with the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. This historical project is expected to lay its first brick in October. This new form of development is expected to greatly increase the tourism potential in Islamabad, allowing the citizens and tourists to explore natural life to the fullest.
