Job description: The delivers technological solutions (molecules, equipment and services) to support the new markets of energy transition, maritime logistics and scientific exploration, in order to accelerate Air Liquide sustainable growth. To support the energy transition, GM&T brings environmentally friendly solutions to the clean energy market with hydrogen energy and Bio-Natural Gas for vehicles, refrigerated transport using nitrogen, but also the treatment and injection of Biogas into the energy grid as a local power source.The Health and Safety Manager works closely with ALATUS Biogas operations and GM&TA management to foster a proactive safety culture, prevent work related accidents and injuries, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and IMS. Participate in accident investigations to identify RCAs and corrective actions. Develop and implement safety training materials. Provide support to RNG plants for JHAs, SWPs, Life Critical procedures, and emergency planning and preparedness. Actively involved in contractor safety management. Be solution oriented, able to recognize hazards, and provide timely response to safety questions. This position will be responsible for managing health and safety processes and programs; this position does not have any direct reports.This position can be located in Newark DE or Houston TXSalary InformationSalary range for this position in Newark, DE – $110k to $120k with an additional annual target incentive of 11% based on performanceSalary range for this position in Houston TX – $95k to $105k with an additional annual target incentive of 11% based on performanceResponsibilitiesRespond to safety concerns and safety alerts in a timely manner.Lead accident and incident investigations to establish root causes in myRCA and corrective actions in Intelex.In partnership with Operations, ensure appropriate corrective action is taken when safety hazards are identified.Perform day to day safety risk assessment & mitigation through Safety Audits, Safe Work Permits (SWP), Pre-Job Planning (PJP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).Manage emergency response plans for the facility, including drills to assess effectiveness.Conduct monthly safety meetings.Conduct safety training and onboarding for new hires.Ensure compliance with OSHA General Industry standards and Air Liquide safety policies as outlined in IMS.Support Health & Safety programs for manufacturing sites.
