Gray’s Anatomy: Season 19; Kelly McCreary Departing ABC Drama After 9 Years – canceled + renewed TV exhibits

Gray’s Anatomy is dropping one other of its sequence regulars. Kelly McCreary introduced her departure from the sequence after 9 seasons, per Deadline.
She has performed Maggie Pierce, the daughter of Ellis Gray and Richard Webber, since season 10. She grew to become a sequence common throughout season 11. Her final look on the ABC sequence as an everyday is ready for April thirteenth. She’s going to return earlier than the season ends.
McCreary stated the next about her exit:
“After 9 seasons, I’m saying goodbye to Maggie Pierce and her Gray Sloan household. It has been an incredible honor to be part of such a legendary tv establishment as Grey’s Anatomy. I’ll at all times be grateful to Shonda Rhimes, Krista Vernoff, and ABC for the chance, and to the unimaginable followers for his or her passionate help. To spend 9 years exploring a personality inside and outside, whereas reaching a worldwide viewers with impactful tales, is a uncommon reward. It has afforded me a chance to collaborate with, be taught from, and be impressed by numerous sensible artists each in entrance of and behind the digital camera. Taking part in Maggie Pierce has been one of many true joys of my life and I depart with profound gratitude for each step of this journey. I’m excited for this subsequent chapter, and what the long run holds.”
Krista Vernoff stated the next about McCreary’s exit:
“Kelly McCreary is a author’s dream come true; sensible, nuanced, considerate, and type. We are going to deeply miss her and her fantastically crafted Dr. Maggie Pierce.”
Gray’s Anatomy has not but been renewed for season 20.
