Gold fee slipped underneath Rs200,000 per tola on Monday because the Pakistan rupee continued to get better towards the greenback for the third straight session, prompting buyers to shift away from the yellow steel.

The value of gold (24 carats) fell by Rs2,000 per tola and Rs1,715 per 10 grams to settle at Rs198,000 and Rs169,753, respectively, information from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Affiliation (APSGJA) confirmed Monday.
