Job description: DescriptionArmed Public Safety OfficerMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) years of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
- Must complete EHC PS Basic Officer Course and EHC PS Firearms Training Course upon hire.
- Obtain Georgia Secretary of State License for Armed In-House Security Officer upon completion of training and complete FEMA IS 100, 200, 700, 800, 906 within 12 months.
- Requires a Georgia driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Must obtain a CPR card within six (6) months of employment.
- Must obtain IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety) certification within one (1) year of employment.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification preferred.
- Must be able to pass extensive Psych Evaluation as a condition of employment.
- Maintains licensure and proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and firearms.
