KARACHI:
The Additional District and Sessions Judge (South) has acquitted the accused, Arsalan, in an illegal arms case related to the killing of a friend during an argument in DHA.
Additional District and Sessions Court South ruled in favour of the accused after the victim’s heirs pardoned him.
Defence counsel Advocate Abid Zaman said there were inconsistencies between the contents of the case file and the investigating officer’s statement. Furthermore, no private witnesses were included during the recovery of the weapon.
