Job description: JOB ALERT:We are assisting one of our clients located in Atlanta, GA in their search for a Controller. The Controller will then have the opportunity to become the CFO. This role is a key part of the management team, with significant influence on the company’s financial direction.The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership presence, capable of guiding the financial strategy of the organization as it continues to grow.This permanent position has excellent benefits, paying up to $200K +/- plus a $20k – $40k bonus, excellent benefits, generous PTO, and other incentives.Controller – HealthcareWHO: Large, specialized healthcare organizationWHAT: Controller – Fast track to CFOWHEN: ImmediatelyWHERE: Atlanta, GAWHY: GrowthSALARY: $150 – $200K +/-, plus profit sharing and bonus, and excellent benefits, plus profit sharing.Duties:Monthly Close: Manage and oversee the monthly closing process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements, balance sheet accounting, and operational revenue reports.Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable function.Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for each division, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals.Partnership with Directors: Collaborate with division directors to educate and guide them on using financial metrics to drive business growth. Regular monthly meetings are expected.Revenue-Generating Mindset: Work closely with leadership to identify and drive revenue-generating opportunities.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.Certification: CPA is mandatory.Powered by JazzHR
