Coco Austin broke down in tears talking to Tamron Hall about the online parenting police.
“I’m underneath a microscope all the time, and you don’t hear what good you do,” the model, 43, said in E! News’ sneak peek of Tuesday’s “Tamron Hall” episode.
“You don’t hear the goodness, you just hear a lot of bad,” she explained of raising 6-year-old daughter Chanel. “And I know I’m a good mother.
“Putting everything aside, my career, everything, just for her … you just want a little love, you want a little respect from people.”
Hall, 52, played a touching pre-recorded message from Austin’s husband, Ice-T, in which he praised her parenting skills.
“This is a shout-out going to my wife, Coco,” the “Law & Order: SVU” star, 64, gushed. “You are the most incredible person I’ve ever met, the nicest person I’ve ever met and the best mother Chanel that anyone could possibly imagine.”
Ice-T concluded, “22 years [of marriage], baby, and it gets better every day.”
Austin was visibly emotional over the “cool” gesture.
She and the rapper welcomed their daughter in 2015, more than a decade after the “Ice Loves Coco” alums tied the knot in Hollywood.
“People, you gotta know by now that I’m an unconventional mother,” she tweeted of the latter in September. “I do what works and is easier on me. Some may want to take some pointers rather than rag on me!”
The following month, the actress told Page Six that social media trolls always “say something” about her choices.
“They’re like, on me,” she added in an interview with us later that same month. “The thing is, everybody’s a hypocrite.”
“She wants to get close to her mom,” the Grammy winner explained at the time. “She [also] eats food. She eats f–king cheeseburgers.”
