ISLAMABAD: After Prime Minister Imran Khan’s claims of having received a “written threat” from foreign elements, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz shared a hilarious meme to mock the premier.

Taking to Twitter, Maryam shared a scene from iconic British sitcom Mr Bean.

In the scene, Mr Bean is seen sealing envelopes containing letters, which he apparently wrote himself. Mr Bean then leaves his room with these envelopes and drops them inside his room through the letter hole on the door.

The character then enters his room again and acts amazed to have received so many letters.

The premier, while flashing a letter before the public at the Amr-bel-Maroof rally on Sunday, said that he has “written evidence” that “money has been pouring in from abroad,” while “some of our people are being used to topple the government.”

After the rally, PM Imran Khan was widely criticised by leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM) over his claims as he did not read out this letter and nor did he “surprise” the nation as he had promised.

Moreover, other PML-N leaders, including Khawaja Asif and Marriyum Aurangzeb, also shared the same meme tweeted by Maryam.
