Find your role by browsing our areas of work.☰Assistant Clinical Research CoordinatorNew📁Research📅 10 hours ago Post Date📅 104458 Requisition #Apply for Job Share this Job Sign Up for Job AlertsStanford University Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is seeking a bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to perform administrative support duties related to the collection of clinical data and/or the coordination of clinical studies, and assisting in the administration of a National Physician Scientist Training Program. Work under supervision of the principal investigator and/or study coordinator/supervisor.Duties include:· Schedule and/or call subjects for appointments; contact participants with study/program reminders and offer support for patients and families.· Prepare, distribute, and confirm questionnaires completeness.· Assist patients with technology issues with connecting to their Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) and Garmin physical activity trackers.· Utilize the electronic medical records (EPIC) records and perform chart review to assess eligibility and data collection for the 4T Study and the Stanford New Onset Program about the patient’s diabetes history and treatment.· Perform clerical duties in the preparation of regulatory documents. Maintain all forms and documents, including consent forms and master subject logs. File all appropriate correspondence.· Assist with the screening, recruiting, and obtaining consent of study participants. Review medical records and/or perform telephone or in-person interviews to gather data, as needed.· Support the maintenance of the 4T program’s REDCap database and learn how to edit/design REDCap database forms· Administer standard study questionnaires and tests, score test measurements and questionnaires, and code data for computer entry. Perform quantitative review of forms, tests, and other measurements for completeness and accuracy.· Order and maintain equipment and supplies and review expiration dates.· Process study compensation payments and assist with post-study activities, as needed.· Enter and process reimbursements in Stanford’s Oracle finance system, setting up purchase orders and contracts.· Working with the Program Administrator to assist in administration tasks for a National Physician Scientist Training Program, including setting up meetings and training programs, scheduling webinars, and supporting the PI.– Other duties may also be assignedStanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the University reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The pay range for this position working in the California Bay area hourly rate is between $22.88 to $30.97 based on commensurate experience and background.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:· Highly organized and detail-oriented· Ability to work independently on time sensitive items· Patient facing· Must be Fluent in Spanish and English· Knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes· Have strong interpersonal communication skills· Strong teamwork experience and skill· Experience is working with a pediatric or family populationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):Two year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):General knowledge of medical terminology.CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:Working toward certification(s) to perform basic patient measurements and tests, such as phlebotomy and EKG.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:· Frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use fine light/fine grasping.· Occasionally sit, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, use a telephone and write by hand, lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.· Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, grasp forcefully, sort and file paperwork or parts, rarely lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh 40 pounds or more.
