Office attendance in Asia Pacific is on the rise, with utilisation rates stabilising as employers increasingly favour on-site work presence. Companies are rethinking their workplace strategies, transforming office layouts and operational policies to meet the demands of a workforce seeking both collaboration and flexibility.

CBRE’s 2024 Asia Pacific Office Occupier Survey reveals that although two-thirds of companies have some form of office attendance protocols, many still allow managers discretion over hybrid work, creating a blend of structure and adaptability in today’s corporate landscape.

Notably, 61% of surveyed companies reported that their office attendance had reached a steady state, reflecting the growing acceptance of flexible and hybrid working models as the future of work.

While in-person office environments are making a comeback, the demand for flexibility and efficiency is pushing organisations to embrace innovative approaches to transforming the workplace and driving employee engagement and collaboration.
