Adele to challenge German beer bars with own British pub in Munich
Proud Tottenham native Adele will be challenging Germany’s renowned beer halls when she starts her residency in Munich next month.
Although Germany’s steins of ale are famous worldwide, the “Easy On Me” singer believes they cannot compare to a traditional British pint as reported by The Sun.
I’ve heard that the singer is constructing a replica of an East London pub near the location.
The British pub will offer traditional English pints and feature a stage for a cover band.
It will be part of a special “Adele World” pop-up area adjacent to the specially built 80,000-seat outdoor venue.
In a unique press conference in the city before the ten gigs next month, organizers revealed that the shows would include the largest outdoor screens ever created for a stage show.
Measuring 220 meters wide and 30 meters high, the LED screens will ensure that everyone in the stadium can see Adele, even those at the back.
Teasing the shows, Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins said, “The gigs will be the total opposite of the small Vegas shows and be made up of a different set list.”
He added, “But I’m not going to say anything more. There has to be something surprising.”
Adele has not put out an album since releasing “30” in 2021, but fans should not anticipate a new record anytime soon.
Speaking on German TV, Adele said, “I don’t have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”
