If you look inside the average hiker’s food bag, you’ll see a sea of brown: chocolate, trail mix, peanut butter, and granola. While delicious, it can get heavy.

After a few hours of sweating on an ascent, you don’t always want heavy fudge. You want freshness. You want something that wakes up your palate.
