70 PTI activists sent on judicial remand


ISLAMABAD:

The court of Judicial Magistrate sent 70 PTI activists into judicial custody and one on physical remand in cases related to PTI protest.

The federal capital police produced 71 PTI activists before the court of duty magistrate. Prosecutor Tayyab Raees and defence lawyers Fattah Ullah Burki, Shama Jabeen and Zahid Dar appeared before the court.

Those who were sent on judicial remand include 25 detained PTI activists in a case filed at Tarnol Police Station.

It is pertinent to mention that scores of PTI activists were arrested in wake of November 26 protest at D Chowk.
