Directs, monitors, and assesses needs and directs the application of resources of an administrative University office dealing with one or more major functional areas. 2. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and management skills, commitment to health equity and community participation in clinical research, an understanding of community engagement, and experience in recruiting participants for clinical research. The Associate Director will work collaboratively with faculty and staff leaders in community engaged research as well as community groups and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative strategies that support inclusive research practices, improve recruitment outcomes, and ultimately increase the validity and generalizability of clinical research protocols.Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:Masters in Public Health/Social Sciences/Healthcare Administration. PhD in a related field preferred. Minimum 5-7 yrs experience in community engagement, public health, participant recruitment or related areas. Experience leading and managing staff. Experience developing and leading community-based programs and initiatives.
