Job description: This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.Eastside Middle School is looking for a special education instructional health assistant for the 2024- 25 school year. In this position, you will assist students with special education services and in the general education classroom.These positions are for 6.5 hours per day and 183 days per year.(170 student instructional days, 4 paid holidays, 7 planning days and 2 extended days)Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.Considered full-time and eligible for benefits – see below.
- Must have 48 semester hours, an Associates Degree or have a high school diploma and have passed the paraeducator assessment exam. Must provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.
Step 0: $15.59Step 10: $19.19New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
