Giannis Antetokounmpo’s incredible luxury watch collection: 6 timepieces that graced the NBA superstar’s wrist, from Rolex Daytonas to ‘the world’s rarest Breitling watch’ made exclusively for him
Antetokounmpo’s collection reportedly includes over 80 timepieces, featuring some extremely rare Rolexes and a one-of-a-kind Breitling – the brand he represents as an ambassador. It has even been dubbed the rarest Breitling in the world.
Here are six stand-out pieces from the NBA superstar’s luxury watch collection.
1. Rolex Oyster Perpetual
2. Rolex Sky-Dweller
After his first NBA championship, however, he decided to splurge on some costlier wrist candy. At the Milwaukee Bucks’ NBA Championship Parade in 2021, Antetokounmpo celebrated with a sparkling new Rolex Sky-Dweller, featuring a white “Rolesor”, black dial and a substantial 42mm case, valued at around US$14,800, according to Robb Report.
3. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore
Another reason why the Greek Freak might have been able to start splashing cash on his luxury watch collection was the record-making US$228 million, five-year contract he signed with the Bucks in late 2020. Per Robb Report, to commemorate that impressive milestone, Antetokounmpo wore a breathtaking Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore for the signing, worth around US$22,000.
4. Rolex Daytona “Rainbow” in rose gold
5. Rolex Daytona “Panda”
Another Holy Grail item in his collection that proves Antetokounmpo is becoming a savvy watch connoisseur? The Rolex Daytona “Panda”, which features a white or silver dial with black sub-dials resembling the face of a panda bear. Per GQ, he wore this elusive model of the already much-desired Daytona in 2021.
6. Breitling Chronomat B01 “Piece Unique”
With a passion for high-end timepieces, it’s no surprise that Antetokounmpo became an ambassador for the Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling in 2022. Per Esquire, this year, he collaborated with the brand to design two limited edition Chronomat watches: the 40mm steel Chronomat GMT “Giannis Antetokounmpo” and the 42mm red gold Chronomat B01 “Giannis Antetokounmpo”. Both feature details like his initials on the central hand, a basketball emblem on one of the chronograph counters, and a green dial shade inspired by the Milwaukee Bucks’ colours.
For the man himself, however, Breitling crafted a one-of-a-kind Chronomat B01 featuring golden Arabic numerals, a white inner bezel and striking white chronograph counters against the Bucks-green dial. Esquire dubbed it “the world’s rarest Breitling watch”.
