Meet Snoop Dogg’s wife of 27 years, Shante Broadus: the self-described Paris Olympics ‘MVP’ met his partner at school, and she rocks Louis Vuitton and Gucci

While the rap legend needs no introduction, less is known about his long-time wife, Shante Broadus – who he just celebrated his 27th anniversary with in June.

Shante Broadus runs an entertainment company

Broadus works in music from behind the scenes. According to People, she founded Boss Lady Entertainment in 2003, a music management company that also has film and TV production arms.

She loves designer fashion

As multimillionaires, the couple have access to some of the finest fashion brands in the world. As seen on her Instagram page, Broadus regularly rocks outfits from labels like Chanel and Gucci, and sports Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton bags.

She’s appeared on reality TV

According to People magazine, Broadus, 52, has made appearances on a number of reality TV shows over the years, including E! True Hollywood Story, HGTV’s Celebrity IOU, and the Steve Harvey game show Celebrity Family Feud. She has also starred in her family’s own productions, including 2007 E! series Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood and her husband’s 2012 documentary Reincarnated, per the outlet.

She opened a strip club in LA

In May, Complex reported that Broadus had opened a strip club in downtown Los Angeles called The Players Club. “This club is more than just a venue; it’s a celebration of empowerment, beauty, and entrepreneurship, providing a space where everyone can feel like a boss,” Broadus said in a press release.

How did Snoop Dogg meet Shante Broadus?

The couple’s love story goes way back. Per People, they met when they were teenagers in high school and even attended prom together before graduating in 1989.

But Snoop Dogg doesn’t take anything for granted. “To have a family and to be who we are … we both wanted to get to that goal, and when we reached it, it was hard, definitely, because you got so many different things pulling you away from marriage, and people divorcing every other day,” he said on Today with Hoda & Jenna last year. “But when you truly love somebody, there ain’t nothing you can do to break that up and I feel like that was true love at first sight.”

Snoop Dogg has four children: Corde, Cordell, Cori and Julian.

In a 2007 interview with People, the “Drop it Like It’s Hot” rapper stated, “Ninety per cent of rappers grew up without fathers, but you see 90 per cent of those rappers becoming fathers to their kids. We don’t ever get commended for that. We become real men when we get to this level we’re at right now.”
